CS6 "tampered software message" since upgrading to Mac OS Mojave

I'm being informed that my copy of CS6 Design & Web Premium, bought direct from Adobe UK, is "not genuine", even thought serial number is marked as "pass":

I have never tampered with my Adobe software and have never had this alert before. I've tried calling the phone number on the alert but no-one answers. My "ID" is 79NF1P0UHG.

I am not a user of pirate software and object to the inference that I am.

Neilb97166492, there has been one other report of a false positive after upgrading to Mojave.  In this individuals case, they had multiple Adobe software titles installed.  Removing all installed Adobe software, followed by using the CC Cleaner Tool from Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems , resolved the error.

I would recommend you perform similar steps and then reinstall Creative Suite 6.  A new copy of the installation files can be downloaded from Download Adobe Creative Suite 6 applications .  Please also make sure to complete the workaround listed in Installing Creative Suite on macOS 10.12 (Sierra) to install Creative Suite 6 and any updates.

Good news: I've resolved my problem. I didn't need to uninstall my (legit) copy of CS6 at all, just uninstalled a copy of Adobe Creative Cloud I'd installed for a trial several year ago. I uninstalled CC, restarted my Mac then launched CS6 InDesign, CS6 Photoshop and Illustrator and all launched without the erroneous "your Adobe software is non-genuine" message.

Neilb97166492, what is the exact error message that you are receiving?  Are you utilizing the serial numbers registered under your account at http://www.adobe.com/?  Information on how to locate your registered serial numbers can be found at Find your serial number .

Thanks for the response, Jeff.

Yes I am utilising my original serial numbers - I don't have any others. I've changed nothing and the (partially obscured) numbers listed in the message, ending 9046, match the number on the box of my DVD of CS6.

Here's the message I get when launching InDesign:

>since upgrading to Mac OS Mojave

Owners of old programs simply have problems with new Mac operating systems... none of which is Adobe's fault... Adobe did not change your old program to make it stop working... Apple changed their operating system and THAT is why your old programs won't work, not because of anything Adobe did... Also... every time Apple issues an update, there is the risk that an old program that HAS been working will STOP working... bottom line, old programs require a matching old operating system

I know that but my CS6 software should still work with Mojave, although as a suite of 32-bit apps this will be the last Mac OS it will run on. I think the problem is that the Adobe software 'authenticator' is finding a false positive.
