CS6 windows extractor keeps giving me errors when trying to create a destination folder.

It gives me three error pop ups. The first says I should check my diskspace and check the destination folders write privileges. I know it is not my diskspace because I have 847 GB free. I tried running it as an administrator and saving it to program files x86, program files, my documents, desktop, C-drive, but none of them are working.

The next error that pops up is telling me to try redownloading it. I have done this and it has not worked.

The last error messege changes based on the destination i am trying to put it in.

I am running windows 8.1 on a brand new HP Envy notebook, it has a x64 bit OS with a Intel I7-4700 MQ processor. I didn't have any problems running it on my old gateway laptop, it was about 7 years old and could run it just fine but it recently died on me. It had a better OS though, Windows 7, and I am wondering if having windows 8.1 is causing a problem with this install.

Anybody have any suggestions?

This did not work either, it keeps giving me the three error pop ups. Is it because i am running windows 8? or could it be my McAfee security keeping it from working?

Blob5 I downloaded and extracted the files successfully for CS6 Design and Web Premium for Windows a few minutes ago.

I would recommend you take a USB drive to a different computer, on a different network, to download and extract the files.  You are either facing stability issues with your current network connection or your security software is interfering with large files being downloaded successfully.

Blob5 if you are still facing the same errors you may want to download a fresh copy of the installation files.  It is possible the files themselves are corrupted.  You can download a fresh copy of CS6 Design Standard at Download CS6 products.

Blob5 I would recommend you try downloading and extracting under a newly created local administrator account.  You can find additional information at Troubleshoot unexpected behavior | User account-specific | Adobe software | Windows 7, Vista.  This should help determine if the file permissions under your current User account have become compromised.

I tried to download and extract as a new local Administrator account, but to no avail. It still gave me the same three error pop up messages. It didn't give me all of the errors when I tried to put it into my programs x86 file but it still didn't let me extract it. This was the case on both of my accounts.
