How can I install CS6 suite on my new iMac? It wouldn't transfer from the old one.

Ah is this the Student and Teacher edition of the software?  If so please see http://forums.adobe.com/message/4635085#4635085.

Also if you have registered your software then please see http://forums.adobe.com/message/3987968#3987968?promoid=KBHJW which discusses locating your serial number at http://www.adobe.com/.

Yes, I used it and it worked except for adobe. It's the latest version of iMac OS on the new 27"iMac. It says I redeemed that serial number, which of course I did when installing it last year on my previous iMac. So I'm not allowed to use it again.

Run the original innstaller from your disks or downloads or download the trial and activate it with your serial number.

It asks for a serial number, then rejects it as having already been used.

Did you use the Migration Assistant?  If you are receiving a message that your serial number is invalid it can be due to a permission issue.  Which version of Mac OS are you using on this new computer?  Do you have any other Adobe software installed or copied over from the other computer?
