Question

Customer Service is Absolutely Awful. Any reputable business should be ashamed.

I cancelled my personal student membership after starting grad school.  My school provides a free membership so I didn't need to pay for it anymore.  Fast forward one month and I get charged $641 without any email or notice.  Only reason I found out is because my credit card maxed out.  After 4 chats and being transfered 4 times on two of them they tell me that neither my cancelled account or my new account through my school are valid or linked to adobe products at all.  I don't understand that because I had to LOG IN to use their online chat.  And if I am not linked to any Adobe products why am I getting charged?  The help chat is an ABSOLUTE WASTE OF TIME and a complete joke.  They have a phone service that is just as bad as the chat.  Hard to understand choppy english with pre-determined question responses and being constantly transferred and put on hold.  They really know how to make a customer feel valued and treated as an individual.  I will not be recommending Adobe to anyone.  I had to contact my credit card company to cancel the payment because Adobe Customer Service is about as useful as a screen door on a submarine.  Thankfully my card company has wonderful customer service and will be assisting me to get my money back.

you do get notified by email (the only contact info adobe has for you) using the same email address used to subscribe.  unfortunately, that could be a company/school email address that you don't use.  and the email can go to spam.

Education plan is for one year, with a fee if you cancel early

When you 'click to agree' to the subscription terms while buying a subscription, that means that you really do need to read BEFORE you buy a subscription... https://www.adobe.com/misc/subscription_terms.html
