Cut off or stop Adobe CC from updating.

When I open up Adobe CC (Creative Cloud), I see that it's updating. How do I kill, stop, or cancel the update? (Using Adobe CC 2018) Not liking the new 2020 UI, I like the smaller window & CC keeps auto-updating and isn't letting me cancel the update.
