deactivate adobe cs6 from old computer not available anymore

I had Adobe CS6 on my old laptop, which is not working anymore, so I can't deactivate it.
Now I have installed it on my new laptop, but I can't activate it.
How can I solve this problem?

Just because a computer is not working does not necessarily mean that your hard drive is bad. If you are able to remove the hard drive you may be able to remove the hard drive, place it in an enclosure and boot it up from another computer to deactivate it.

If the hard drive is bad, or you no longer have access to the computer (ie: sold it), then you will have no options at this point other than to subscribe to the creative cloud or look for alternative solutions as support is no longer resetting counts as of this year.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

from your description, you cannot solve.  ie, you must deactivate from one of the two devices that are currently activated.  if that's impossible, you cannot deactivate.
