Deactivate LR on Laptop

I cannot deactivate LR 1.1 on my laptop.

    Lightroom does not require activation therefore you do not need to take any action before installing it on another computer.

    However, you should note that your license is for two computers of which only one should be used at any time.

    From the License agreement:

    "2.4 Portable or Home Computer Use. The primary user of the Computer on which the Software is installed may install a second copy of the Software for his or her exclusive use on either a portable Computer or a Computer located at his or her home, provided the Software on the portable or home Computer is not used at the same time as the Software on the primary Computer."

    I installed the upgrade on my desktop without a problem but I also want to install on a new laptop that has never had a copy of LR. I downloaded to the new laptop but cannot activate it.

    I was told to deactivate the LR 1.1 on my old laptop but there is no option under "help" to accomplish that.

    Try to contact Adobe Support either by chat or via phone as thbey might be able to manage the deactivation for you.
