I Deactivtated the serial permanently from the original PC.  I am not trying to use on our new PC and it still will not accept the serial number.  Please help.  Thanks.

Do you have any other Adobe software installed on the other computer?  If so what is installed?  Which operating system are you using?  Finally what is the exact error message which you are receiving?

Thanks for reply Jeff.

I have uninstalled all other adobe products.  Using Windows 8 and the error is as follows:

This is the screen following my attempt to enter our serial number.  Additionally, no items in the list match X Pro, which is what we purchased.

It appears that you have an upgrade version of Acrobat 10 Professional.  It is asking for the serial number for the software which you upgraded from.  Did you have an older version of Acrobat prior to Acrobat 10 Professional?  If so then you would want to enter it's serial number.

If you have your older version registered then you can find your serial number online by following the directions listed at http://forums.adobe.com/message/3987968#3987968?promoid=KBHJW.
