Question

Deactivating LR6

Hi,

Last friday I bought a laptop and installed my Lightroom C6 on it. Because I was not satisfied with that laptop, I deleted LR6 and returned it to the shop.

I bought another laptop. On that other laptop I installed LR6 and then there was a message that the limit of active computers was reached. I think this is caused by not deactivating LR6 on the laptop I returned. I then did not know I had to do that.

Can you please help me?

You have to contact the Adobe Support from the chat link below. Only they can reset the LR activations.

Signed-In with your Adobe ID and allow cookies in your web browser.

    Online Chat: https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen

Ask the person on the chat only for DEACTIVATION of Lr6.

If the agent can't do it, ask for a supervisor and persevere.   Deactivation is all they can help you with because Lr6 is discontinued and unsupported software.
