Deactivating Master Collection CS6 On DOA New Laptop
Hi everyone,
Is it impossible to speak to anyone at Adobe? Is it all just community forums now?
Situation is this. I treated myself to a brand new high-end laptop. Spent hours copying files, installing software and logging into accounts. I deactivated CS6 from my old machine to install on this. Machine asked me if it could restart, I gave it what it wanted and now it won't boot into Windows. It's proper stuffed.
I am going to call Lenovo support tomorrow (they're closed now) and figure out my options. Hopefully we can fix it so it boots and everything is great, or I get a new machine, in which case I will have to install everything again. If I do get a new unit (or even factory reset this), I won't be able to deactivate the licence from this machine.
Surely there's a way for Adobe to help out and deactivate. I don't use Adobe software enough to need a CC sub.
