Deactivation in Photography Plan?

Hi.. I have the Photography Plan and am able to use PS and LR on my old desktop and now my new desktop, how do I take them off my old desktop so I can start using them on my laptop, I have looked at 'Help - Deactivation' but I don't have this 'Deactivation' on the help menu... thank you in advance - Ian

Hi,

You can have creative cloud installed and signed in on two computers, as long as you only use it on one at a time. Download and install as you did on the first computer, sign in to your Adobe account on the Adobe website using your Adobe ID, download the Cloud desktop app, then download the software. Sign out on a computer that you will not be using: sign in and sign out of the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app

After you install the Creative Cloud desktop  application  , you will need to sign in with an Adobe ID and Password. Then you can install apps. This link offers more information and step by step instructions if you need it:  Creative Cloud Help | Download, install, update, or uninstall apps

Hi... I have now downloaded Creative Cloud PS and LR to my Laptop, but the PS and LR are only showing as trial.. I have uninstalled CC PS and LR from my old desktop and have formatted the hard drive, I have also logged out of CC on my new Desktop.. can you please tell me how I can change PS and LR on my laptop from trial status.. Thank you in advance... Ian

Kindly Reset the hosts file :-

Windows

  1. Choose Start > Run, type %systemroot% \system32\drivers\etc, and then press Enter.
  2. Right-click the hosts file and select Open. Select Notepad for the application to open the hosts file.
  3. Back up the hosts file: Choose File > Save As, save the file as hosts.backup, and then click OK.
  4. Search the hosts file for entries that reference adobe (for example, 127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com, or 127.0.0.1 lm.licensing.adobe.com) and delete these entries.
  5. Save and close the file.
  6. Restart your computer.

Mac OSLog in as an administrator to edit the hosts file in Mac OS.

  1. In a Finder window, choose Go > Go To Folder.
  2. Type /etc.
  3. Select the hosts file and open it.
  4. Back up the hosts file: Choose File > Save As, save the file as hosts.backup, and then click OK.
  5. Search the hosts file for entries that reference adobe (for example, 127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com, or 127.0.0.1 lm.licensing.adobe.com) and delete these entries.Save and close the file.
