deactivation of ps on broken mac

My daughter's mac recently died - and took along the installed ps software...now trying to make ps work on my other daughter's mac, but it won't let me activate the software, because it is still considering the software on the broken mac as active....how can that be fixed?

We also have the software on my desktop machine in the family room, but have to have it on the laptop to be able to use it while traveling....how to I get deactivate the software on the broken mac (the motherboard is shot - completely broken, won't start up).?
