Hi I deactivated CS6 on my old computer and even got rid of the program itself, but when I try to reinstall it, i get a message that says it is a counterfeit on my new laptop. I put in my serial number even, so is there a way to solve this issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi I tried it and this is the message I got:

Installation failed

Adobe Genuine Software Verification Failure

The product you are trying to install is not an Adobe Genuine Software and appears to be counterfeit. Please report piracy or contact customer support for assistance.

I know for sure I bought it on the Adobe website so it shouldn't be a counterfeit. The only reason why it could was if it was still on my old computer but it was deactivated and the program itself removed and deleted. Is there a time frame I need to wait for it to be recognized as deactivated before I try and re-install it on my new PC laptop? Any help would be great. Thanks.
