Deleted Illustrator

I downlaoded Illustrator CS6 through the Creative Cloud app and when opening ran into a problem. The applicaton would not open and said it ran into an error when downloading. So I deleted it to try to reinstall. But when I go back into the CC app it says Illustrator is already downloaded. I have already removed any files I could find and emptied my trash. How do I reinstall Illustrator? I am using a Mac on OSX 10.8.2.
