Did you try changing your user permission to administrator?

Worked for me!

Change User account permissions - Microsoft Community

Restart your PC. When you reach the

sign-in screen, hold the Shift key and select the

Power button, and then select Restart.

After your PC restarts, select

Troubleshoot > Advanced options >Command Prompt. Wait till computer restarts.

Select the User account and enter the password, when it ask for choice.

In the opened Administrator: X:\windows\system32\cmd.exe command window, type

NET USER ADMINISTRATOR /ACTIVE:YES and press Enter. This will enable the built-in Administrator account. To exit command prompt type

Exit and hit Enter.

Back on the Choose an option window, click

Troubleshoot /> Advanced options / > Startup Settings />Restart. After your PC restarts, you should see a number of options. Press 5 or F5 for Safe Mode with networking.

After the computer starts in

Safe Mode, from the displayed list of users, Select Administrator to log on to the computer using the built-in Administrator account.

Once you login with the Administrator account, follow the same procedure which you are trying now to make User Profile as administrator.

Once you complete the download, ensure to disable the administrator profile. To do this, once you login the main profile, press

Windows logo key +X, select Command Prompt (Admin).

Type or copy/paste NET USER ADMINISTRATOR /ACTIVE:NO

and hit Enter key.

Yes, I have been to that link/page.

On selecting Acrobat Pro X to download, it gives a choice of several language versions.

I select English and clock - and get "access denied" warning.

Downloadable installation files available:

Download and installation help for Adobe links

Download and installation help for Prodesigntools links are listed on most linked pages.  They are critical; especially steps 1, 2 and 3.  If you click a link that does not have those steps listed, open a second window using the Lightroom 3 link to see those 'Important Instructions'.
