I disposed of my old computer before removing the photoshop registration. Is it possible to get this removed by Adobe?

It used to be, but they will no longer do it, under any circumstances. Whatever version you have, this software is fifteen years old or more, and most likely won’t work as expected on modern hardware/OS.

Only CS5 and CS6 can be reactivated at all now, but you have to deactivate manually first. If you didn’t, it’s gone - unless you’re so lucky as to still have one free activation slot from the two you were allowed.

Either way, the activation procedure has changed and you’ll have to look it up on their help pages.

The activation servers for CS4 and earlier have been permanently shut down.

No.  Remote deactivation is not possible with legacy products.

Only you can deactivate from the device on which it was previously installed.

If that’s not possible, you’re stuck. You’ll need to find replacements.

the only way to deactivate a previous activation is using a computer that has an activation.  there is no other way.  ie, if that’s impossible, it’s impossible to recover an activation.
