Desktop Apps Download?
Sorry if I'm stupid about this but I see options to download desktop apps. Is this different from just installing CC and running apps I use? Why do I want to download desktop apps on top of installing CC apps I use?

Adobe is distinguishing Cloud desktop apps from Cloud mobile apps.
Both are included in a Cloud membership. The "Cloud apps" designed for use on desktop operating systems (Windows and Mac OSX/Sierra) are downloaded and installed via the Cloud desktop app
