is it possible ( while using the same computer) to open and edit a file that was started with a different account ? i have a bunch of files that i worked on with a different account and now im trying to make my own account. i dont want to lose all my files, so if they're local (like on my computer) can i edit them even if im signed into a different account ?

No problem to edit files under a different account where the data has been created. We are a team and doing that all the time. Works flawlessly. Data is on the NAS, access is done via workstations and laptops. However, some of the software is not "multi user" ready, like Lightroom CC Classic. So if you work from different locations, you need to consider that.

Just to add to this: I'm even sharing some data via CC storage between my work account and my private account.
