[Disabled Discount] Question for Adobe

I chatted with support. They weren't very helpful. Maybe I'm being unreasonable. I wrote I have a question. I know the answer is probably no but I thought I'd ask anyway.

I'm interested in Adobe Apps and Cloud and Stock Images. I see you have discounted plans for students for example. I'm not a student but I am disabled, in a wheelchair, don't work, and receive only very little social security a month.

I could provide whatever proof you need. My hobby is playing on my computer and working on a few webpages for friends. I'd love these apps for this reason but I cannot really afford them. Is there any way I could get a reduced rate for everything?

I would really appreciate it and if the answer's no, I understand. I normally wouldn't even ask but I am really interested in your apps and services and I know they'd be a great asset. Thank you

The customer support guy just told me about student discounts even though I said I'm not a student which leads me to believe he had no freaking clue and didn't bother getting me a real answer. I did not expect much and did not think I'd get what I asked but I did expect a better answer.

The answer I got about student discounts especially after saying I am not a student was really disappointing and makes me wonder if he even understood anything I said.

I hope you were not conversing with the artificial intelligence chat bot.  That's a road to nowhere.  I usually have to type AGENT followed by Enter key and wait for a human to enter the session.

There are no discounts for age or disability.   Apart from the deeply discounted Photography Plan for $10/month, an academic discount is the best Adobe offers to qualifying teachers, students and staff.   See links below.

I think this would be a brilliant service to many of us who may never work again and/or are often home alone living at a limited capacity. For me, former digital artist now multi-limb amputee. I'd love to try creating again on the computer to take my mind off pain and fight depression. Studying animation or visual fax softwares really excercised my mind and distracts me from my woes, but living on disability limits how much if not all my money for entertainment. I know what your seeking. I hope you find the right person and get what you seek. Good luck!

I received basically the same reception when asking a very similar question. No discounts for anyone except students & teachers it appears - those of us disabled and on a government pittance must pay the same as zillionaires... hmmm... Anything wrong with this picture? I guess Adobe doesn’t think so...

And I was just signing up. I asked if I could sign up without choosing a photography plan - I wanted to think about it and decide what to choose. I told that to the “bot”-person repeatedly, who didn’t seem to understand my words...in simple English. “He” kept on, over & over, to get me to sign up for a plan. GADS!!! Enough, already!!

    Adobe, you need better bots!!

Better bots??? I don't think there are any, at least not yet. Have you tried using Affinity Photo or Inkscape yet?
