Disk image could not be opened

I'm trying to reinstall CS5 on a new MacBook Pro. I have uninstalled on the old MacBook and downloaded the Design Standard package. But when I open the folder and click the Instal icon, I get this message:

“Install” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should eject the disk image.

I have now tried this three times, all with the same result. Help!

IF Mac El Capitan read below

CS6 and earlier programs have not been tested and will not be updated to run on Mac El Capitan

-which means that you try to use CS6 and earlier at YOUR risk of having problems

-you may get CS6 and earlier programs to install and run, or you may not (some do, some don't)

    -Java https://helpx.adobe.com/dreamweaver/kb/dreamweaver-java-se-6-runtime.html may help

And this is specific to your error message

Install CS5 on Mac 10.11 https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2003455 may help (also for other than CS5)

-also a TEMPORARY security change https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2039319

    Branching to a new discussion.

Paulk60013907 this error typically means that the DMG file you downloaded has been corrupted.  I would recommend downloading a fresh copy of the retail installation files from Other downloads .  You are welcome to update this discussion if you continue to face errors.
