Do I have 4 years to upgrade my CS 5.5 as a student?

Hello,

I purchased CS5.5 Adobe Web Premium as a qualified student, may I please find out am I able to upgrade to the latest version for up to 4 years after purchase, is that how it works?


If so, are you able to send me a link how I can upgrade to the latest version?

No, this is not how it works. The timeframe for upgrades is strictly dictated by the availability of new versions. Anyway, at this point it's a moot point. As a student, you would only have been able to get the commercial CS6 upgrade, but it's no longer being sold. You can only sign up for Creative Cloud.

    Hi Mike,

    CS5.5 Web Premium is at end-of-life, meaning it has not been tested by Adobe on newer operating systems like OSX 10.11. Therefore, there is no guarantee it will work and, if you encounter problems, support for the product is limited. That said, many community members have been able to get the program to work on El Capitan. Some have even conducted informal tests: OS X 10.11 El Capitan: Will Adobe software work? Certainly, it doesn't hurt to try. If you experience difficulties with installation, feel free to post a new question in the Downloading, Installing, Setting Up forum.
