Do I need to delete/uninstall my old CS2 version of Photoshop on my iMac before I install (via disc) my new CS6 Extended Photoshop?

    no. but if you do plan to uninstall and want to use it on some other computer, it's a good idea to deactivate (help>deactivate) it first.
