I rarly use photoshop only for some stright forward basic with my entry level knowleage . I have CS6 for a decade , and stucked with IOS Sierra, There are soemthign wrong with my safari which I would have to update my IOS system which mean I will lose my CS6 which I properly use it 1-2 times in a year.   I m now prepared to update my computer, but I m confused about Adobe creative  , Adobe CC

Ps Elements , some comments from the  forum suggest GIMP / affinity photo which is so foreign to me. I don't even know what is suitabe for me, what I m looking at to replace my CS6 ,  seeking for advice, thanks in advance .

No it won't. Since Catalina Apple ended support for 32 bit applications and CS6 has some 32 bit dependencies.

Yes CS6 can be made to work on Ventura with some limitations.  I posted about it on this thread:

for others, you can run cs6 64 bit apps on newer mac os'es, but you can't install them.

Ha, ha. No way!  Mojave was the last Apple OS to support 32-bit software.  Apple is strictly 64-bit now.

CS6 is discontinued and unsuported software from 2012.  If you have any illusions about using it forever, think again.   CS2-CS4 are officiallly dead.  And CS5 & CS6 are on life support. Keep what you have now while it lasts.  When the time comes to upgrade, make sure to budget for new software, too.

Ventura today is a beta system. NO Adobe be apps are suitable for unreleased systems. These are not for people with work to do, but for testing in a spare  computer!
