Hi Guys,

Today I downloaded macOS Catalina and started to install it on my MacBook air. while installing, a popup window stating "some of the apps are not optimized for your mac and will require an update to work after installing mac os". I stop my installation doubt my cs6 might not work since the adobe stopped supporting cs6 I don't want to take the risk.

I just had a doubt what i did is right or wrong? so thought of asking here.

TSC is right.  CS6 will never be compatible with Catalina.

We know there are some compatibility problems with Creative Cloud apps on Catalina.  CC users would do well to hold off on upgrading to Catalina for at least a month or perhaps longer while the dust settles.

You did right. CS6 does not work and will never work in Catalina. You now have to decide whether to freeze your macOS or subscribe to the latest apps. (Note: if you do choose to subscribe, WAIT - it's far too early to upgrade to Catalina. People have all sorts of problems).

There are problems with some of the CURRENT Adobe programs, so even the 64bit CS6 programs MAY have problems

You need to ask in the specific forums to find out if anyone else had been able to run that specific CS6 program
