Does Photoshop Elements 13 run under Windows XP?

After going thru hell with Support on the serial number issue, I find out that PS Elements 13 doesn't run under Win XP? Is this correct? Please don't tell me to upgrade, I KNOW.

    Elaine ~ how did you get through to support?  I tried chat but they were closed.  This forum was the only option I was given.  I am using Safari on a MAC and was given the option to upgrade to 13 from 12 for a discount.  I have NO option to download.  Thanks!

    That's correct. Elements 13 will not run on Windows XP.

    Photoshop Elements 13 requires Windows 7 or Windows 8.

    Please credit my charge card account for the cost of Elements 13,

    because we found out after the fact that we could not install it in XP.

    I would suggest using a Chat session with Adobe to give out such information, rather than post it to a public forum.
