Downgrade photoshop 2019 to 2018 (Mac)

Hi, 

After downloading the latest Photoshop CC 2019 version (Mac), I find the software unusable because of the incredible slowness and lag, even after following advice from Adobe on how to improve performance on settings. I have read online that it is possible to do a downgrade to the 2018 version (v19...), but from the CC app I can only see the option to install older versions of CC 2019 and not 2018. How could I do it?

      Catalina... might that be the problem?
