Downgrading to base after effects cc 2020

hi, my after effects recently updated to the latest version of cc 2020.

but since that it is not importing mp4 files either in h24 or h265 formats.

i want to downgrade back to base cc 2020 version 17 or i want this issue fixed somehow, please help
