Adobe Live Chat resolved it for me, it was an issue of permissions. Finder > Go > Go to folder >~/Library > Application Support > Adobe. Right click Adobe and choose Get Info. Change all Sharing & Permissions to "Read and Write". Hope that helps someone else! FYI, they didn't need any system info from me to answer the question.

Thank you Stephanie, I'm sorry I didn't acknowledge your help first time but it worked and I'm really grateful. I did get the problem again on the latest update and had to disable Sophos Anti-Virus until the update was complete. Hope this helps others. Kind regards, George

You have not provided any system info or otehr technical details liek what Internet connectio, so this is totalyl useless.
