Download error message for CC 2015

I have had CC for over a year and recently updated to CC2015.  I have both LR and PS and both had been working perfectly until today.  When trying to open CC I get a message - Download Error, unable to read Adobe servers.  Check internet connections & firewall settings. Error (503).  I've checked internet connections and firewall settings and both seem to to fine.  Is anyone else having this problem?

Unfortunately we are experiencing some issues with Adobe  Servers, request you to kindly wait for few Hours and then try again.

Inconvenience is regretted !!!
