Question

Download for all cloud apps broken

I'm a web developer since the internet became commercially available and I've never seen a product download flow like this. This has to be a bug.

The download link redirects to a page telling me it's going to send me an email but it's just a mailto: link thus opening up my mail client to send myself the email, and the link that it sends in this unusual fashion doesn't work anyways.

Truly bizarre.

i'm not sure what's triggering the screwy links shown in your video, but install the cc desktop app from here https://creativecloud.adobe.com/apps/all/desktop?action=install&source=apps&productId=creative-cloud and use it to install your adobe subscription and trial programs.

if you have trouble downloading, use the alternative download site at page bottom here, https://helpx.adobe.com/in/download-install/kb/creative-cloud-desktop-app-download.html

I figured what it was, I often work on my windows pc from my chromebook and I simply forgot I was on my chromebook. Still though, that's an odd behavior for any app. It should just tell me to download it on windows when it figures out I'm on ChromeOS.

i don't think adobe probes your system for compatibility until you download and install the cc app.  of course that's a problem when you can't even install the installer.
