Decided to run Windows CC Desktop (v5.00.354), just to see if there any updates = yes.

Clicked on the BR 10 update - download started = good.

I currently have BR version = 9.0.0.204

Went outside to move some vehicles around. Walked a kilometer back thru the field covered in snow - from the depot back to the shop. I'm in the foothills of Alberta, 75 km SW of Calgary.

Mainly sunny/hazy and -8C.

Upon return, I checked on the download process - it FROZE at 27%. WTF...

Why is there only a "Cancel" option on the CC Desktop app...?

How about using some of that "amazing" AI - that Adobe uses in Photoshop - to move a stupid 'palm tree' on a sun-drenched tropical island, and have it perhaps manage and figure out the best way to get those updates delivered to the customer...!

Ran your 'LogCollectorTool' tool.

The following file has been uploaded on Adobe LogCollector Portal:

File: AdobeLogs_20191214_054620_496-win.zip

Please use the above filename as a reference when contacting Adobe Customer Care.

Found two Download logs at >

C:\Users\kc\AppData\Local\Temp\CreativeCloud\ACC\AdobeDownload\

Zipped them and put the file on Dropbox >

As for trying to download the other available files - NO F**KIN WAY...

And I have NO interest nor time - to INSPECT those Log files.

I tried downloading some programs from your 'alternate' website - a few months ago. NO versions number on that page. Those few downloads actually completed and the process was reasonably quick - however...

Turns out the downloaded files - were OLDER then what I had. WTF...

Why can't that information be made "plain to see", before one clicks on "Download"...?

Let me make a few clear points >

All the people who work at Adobe - are wonderful. The few products I use - work great: BR, PS, LRc.

I'm just so pissed at this whole 'update' experience.

I think I figured it out. It's a cold winter and the Adobe "Bits&Bytes" in the "CreativeCloud" tend to freeze in transit. I'm guessing that we'll have better weather by Jul-2020, so things will improve by then... 🙂

Here are a few 'helpful' suggestions >

Watch the recent 60 Minutes story about 'YouTube' >

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/is-youtube-doing-enough-to-fight-hate-speech-and-conspiracy-theories-60-minutes-2019-12-01/

"To grasp the phenomenal scale of YouTube: consider that people spend 1 billion hours watching videos on it, every day. It is the most used social network in the U.S. More queries are typed into the website's search bar than anywhere online except Google, which owns YouTube."

.

.

.

Susan Wojcicki: So we have 500 hours of video uploaded every minute to YouTube.

Lesley Stahl: That is breathtaking.

https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20191212005757/en/Adobe-Surpasses-11-Billion-Annual-Revenue

In its fourth quarter of fiscal year 2019, Adobe achieved record quarterly revenue of $2.99 billion, which represents 21 percent year-over-year growth. In fiscal year 2019, Adobe achieved record annual revenue of $11.17 billion, which represents 24 percent year-over-year growth.

Someone from Adobe - should talk to someone at YouTube - and take notes on how to setup servers...!

Then use 'some' of that $11.17 billion revenue - and build a system that works.

Then - as an added bonus, you never see posts like this one again...!

May your hearts be filled with 'peace and joy', but please don't try to "download' anything. Why wreck your life - during this festive season.
