Download / Install Failures (113 & P201)
As many others have posted on this topic, I would like to offer one add'l piece of info and a possible end-run with a happy ending.
First, I have been getting these errors for days now, trying the first update since successfully updating to CC 2020, on the Photography plan, using PS desktop and LR Classic on a fully-up-to-date win-10 system. Yesterday I spent 1.5 hrs with a support staff member. It started with a chat session and evolved into a full remote desktop assistance effort. He could not even download the CC pkg without error. I had been able to d/l but not install. The conclusion was that I should contact my ISP and get them to whitelist the Adobe servers.
I have not done this (yet?). But after finishing with the support agent, I tried one extra thing: I initiated a vpn, choosing a server outside the US (happened to be Canada). At this point I successfully downloaded and installed ACC, PS desktop and LR classic. I'm still not sure why it worked, but the vpn must have acted like a proxy. Personally, I would have thought that would mess things up, but it did not. I will probably get the error again next time updates occur, but maybe this temporary end-run solution will work.
