Download + Install Help for CS6

Any help with sourcing the download for CS6 for Windows?

My registration data is Nov 2, 2020 - so it's not *that* old - but I recently had to migrate to a new(er) PC and I'm not aware of any mechanism to migrate the app from my old PC so I need a new installation.
Thanks,
Dan

This won't help the original person with lost files, but For anyone else reading this...
You should always have an extra copy of all files (or TWO full copies)
Computer crashes happen, so use an external drive for copies
A USB flash drive to keep in a safe place... here are 2, there are many more available
PNY brand https://www.amazon.com/PNY-512GB-Turbo-Attach%C3%A9-Flash/dp/B0BF5VHLBZ
SanDisk https://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-512GB-Ultra-Flash-Drive/dp/B083ZLJ5MG
Other flash drives are 1 or even 2 Terabytes

Unfortunately it's possible your version may not be legitimate. CS6 was released in 2012 and all sales of it ceased in January of 2017. If your version is newer than that as you elude to, it is likely it was not being sold through an authorized channel. If you were not provided media with your purchase, you could try reaching out to the vendor, but I believe you will likely have to migrate to a creative cloud subscription or consider alternatives.

No ... it's a legitimate copy ... but Adobe has changed the download/installation process and there are no real instructions on the new mechanism. I did figure it out though 😉

Thanks for the reply.

no legitimate install files are available unless you purchased from or registered with adobe.  if you registered with or purchased from adobe, check your account for the download files, https://account.adobe.com

Thanks for the reply.
Adobe changed the download/re-install process - and there were no instructions - but I did figure it out.
It used to be a single zip file - now it's 2 files (an executable and a zip). No idea why they did that - but I made good notes (and backups) should it ever happen again.

cs6 (and much earlier) has always been that way.  for others just run the exe with both the exe and 7z in the same folder.
