How can I get from the Akamai Download Manager screen to get the download started?

    Hi there,

    Not sure if you are trying to download from www.adobe.com, if yes then there will be a small link with the name "Alternate method" and that starts the direct download without Akamai download manager OR you can simply try and change the browsers to see if that helps.

    Thank you, Ankit. Tried all that several times, finally downloaded

    The Premier Elements_11_WWEFDJ.dmg, took over an hour

    and when it was complete, nothing happened!

    I don't see an icon or any other button to actually work with this

    program.

    Once it is downloaded, and I have it now 3 times in Show Downloads,

    nothing happens when I double click on the above file.

    What is supposed to happen, does not!

    Any clues for me?

    Wolfgang you will want to double click on the DMG file to mount the disc image.  You can then open the installer from the disc image to install the software.
