download of Photoshop Elements 14 fails 3 times

The download of Photoshop Elements 14 gets to 1,312,492 KB and then fails. The same thing has happened 3 times and it takes 25 minutes to get to that stage.

While the download is progressing the login to my Adobe account terminates and I am asked to log in again. Is this a reason for the failure? Do I have to stay logged into my account for the whole period of the download?

I am using the current version of Firefox version 44.0.2

Do I need to turn off my antivirus program while the download is in progress? This is not something I want to do.

Please help.

    After talking to the support team I turned off the antivirus and it worked ok.

    Please try using a different browser, also turn off any security software or firewall's installed along with browser protection tools and try again.
