download on one computer, install on another?

I would like to upgrade from CS5 to CS6 later this year, probably around the time I replace my workplace Macintosh with a current model. No doubt Creative Cloud has many desirable elements, but no thanks. A potential problem: I'm on a tethered internet access at work (Macs are not permitted on the network), at my own expense, and the download would involve me in costly overages if done there. Can I download the .dmg at home, transport it to the workplace on optical media or a portable HD, and install it that way?

    Many thanks.

On my home computer, for some reason, the upgrade from CS4 to CS5 never took for the InDesign component. This is odd, because the home and workplace Macs are identical models, identically configured. I wonder whether this might cause a problem with respect to InDesign this fall?
