Downloaded CS5.5 -- Still cannot install it?

My MAC died this past week, and after getting a new one, received a download link to my CS5.5 Standard that I had on the old one to reinstall it.  I followed the link, it downloaded and now I, after I click the INSTALL file, I get the message: "Install cannot be opened.  You should eject the disc image. “Install” is on the disk image “DesignStandard_CS5_5_LS1.dmg”. Safari downloaded this disk image today at 12:27 PM from helpx.adobe.com."  I go to the .dmg file and click eject, but it does not help.  I can't figure out how to install.

Help appreciated.

Thx.

Install CS5 on Mac 10.11 https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2003455 may help (also for other than CS5)

-also a TEMPORARY security change https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2039319

    -and more on gatekeeper https://support.apple.com/en-au/HT202491

For Mac El Capitan or the newer Sierra operating system read below

-CS6 and earlier programs have not been tested and will not be updated for Mac El Capitan/Sierra

-which means that you try to use CS6 and earlier at YOUR risk of having problems

-you may get CS6 and earlier programs to install and run, or you may not (some do, some don't)

    -Java https://helpx.adobe.com/dreamweaver/kb/dreamweaver-java-se-6-runtime.html may help
