I'm enrolled in a graduate class, I downloaded a copy of dreamweaver to get quickly get started since the student store was closed. I then purchased the student version, the trial wants a serial number but the student version is not prodvided a serial number, you're told to download the software. I dont want my work over written, is this ok (to download it a second time).

Save any files you created to a folder separate from any installation files for the software and you should be fine.  Student versions shopuld have the same serial number requirement as any other Adobe applications, except for Creative Cloud subscriptions.

This is what it said after I entered my code.

A serial number is not required at this time. To get started, simply download/install the product, sign-in with your Adobe ID, and it will be ready to use.

It assumes you are a new customer and aren't using Trial version. Thats a pretty big FAIL! for product registration when you can't register a trial version.
