Downloading adobe cs5

I recently have adobe CC 2019, but I want to download a previous version of adobe illustrator cs5. Is this possible?

CS5 predates the Creative Cloud and so was never considered part of a Creative Cloud subscription. Since the recent change in policy even CS6 Illustrator, which had previously been part of a CC subscription is also no longer downloadable. You can only now legally install CS6 and earlier versions if you have the original disks and serial numbers to prove ownership. For more information contact Customer Care Contact Customer Care .

Just after the change concerning versions, the information may have been a bit woolly, but it has been made clear and simple now, as it appears from the link I gave to the new way of downloading older versions (before CC).

If you follow the old download links from before the change, you are transferred to the new one.

Many have bought older versions as downloads, and downloading is indeed still possible.
