Downloading creative cloud installer?

I keep trying to download creative cloud installer but when I double click it starts to download then just disappears.

I've also tried to download the CC apps it it keeps coming up with "There is no application set to open the URL aam://adobecreativecloud/? then it has a long code after this

OK it installed but now all when I try to open it is  spinning blue lines, I'm on a MAC, been spinning now for a good few minutes

.
