Downloading InDesign trial software simply stops, perhaps 10% of the way. I have 20MB/s into my home, and the connection is fine. Is this what I can expect when I buy your software?
I am attempting to evaluate InDesign. Apparently this requires Creative Cloud, whatever, you package your software as you please.
The installer stops at around 10%. I am guessing, because there is no exact indicator, or any way to tell if it is still working or not.
I am using OSX Yosemite. I note with some amusement that you don't bother with piddling operating system details like appearing in the list of running applications (i.e. Command-Option-Escape doesn't show your installer). That's fine, because ps -ef | grep Creative finds your processes, and kill -9 XXXX works. Should I really have to do this? Pressing Cancel doesn't.
Is there any way to tell if this is hung up? It's been running for hours. I am running a fresh install of OSX (a lightning storm ate my computer the other night), so pretty please don't go there, unless it's to admit that you don't support Macs. I get 20MB/s into the house, so it's not my internet connection.
I would appreciate any advice on how to get this trial working.
