downloading/installing my design premium cs5.5

Question

Hi there,I had a recent PC issue and lost my installed copies of CS5.5. I bought it years ago in college. Now it looks like there is no download link in my account but the product is still there. Is this product dead? I am reading mixed information about it still being available and I am not sure if I am understanding things correctly. I do still have the original install discs - can i install from those and update? I pretty much just use this for fun projects and don't really have the $53/month right now to pay for cloud.

it's close to dead, if not dead. people are having difficulty activating even with a valid serial number and available activations.

that said, you can still download the installation file.

follow the directions (esp, step 1)

save the install file. it won't remain online.
