Downloading previous versions of cc [on OS X 10.7]

I have just subscribed but cannot download anything as my macbook only has mac osx 10.7. technical support said i could download previous versions but only send me instructions to do this once you have already downloaded something - you need to click on the cc icon. This doesn't work for me as i can;t download anything. Technical support has been useless for nearly two hours!!!! Please help.

Try clicking on free trial on the adobe website. This will initiate an install of the correct version of creative cloud for your computer and you can go from there.

Moving to Creative Cloud Download & Install

Hi Sheena,

Thanks for your reply - the trouble is you already need to have downloaded some of the applications first. It tells you to open your creative cloud desktop application but i don't have one as i can't download anything!

Any other options?

Emma, I am sorry that you are facing difficulties installing older Creative Cloud applications on Mac OS 10.7.  What applications and versions are you attempting to install?

You also indicated that you have been facing difficulties downloading and installing the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application.  Do you receive any specific error messages when you try to install the Creative Cloud desktop app utilizing the steps listed at Download and install Creative Cloud apps​.

Due to the age of the operating system you are using you may need to download and install the Creative Cloud desktop app from https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/creative-cloud-desktop-app-download.html if the steps listed in Download and install Creative Cloud apps do not allow you to complete the installation process Emma.

Emma you also mentioned you spoke with a member of our support team.  Do you have a case number from your interaction that I can reference?
