Downloading problems from a hard copy of Lightroom

I have Creative Cloud installed from work, but I also use Lightroom for personal work.  I have a hard copy disk of LR3 and when I install it, it keeps giving me the error of "error changing modules" and it also keeps taking me to the registration page which I've already completed, but it seems to not be working.  Any help?

    is the info about cc at work related to anything you're doing on the computer that you're using with lr3?

    No, I just thought it might be pertinent because there might be some conflict between cc and LR3
