Question

Each program version is overloaded in the support files

Love «Adobe's»

Subject: genus Photoshop Elements 2020/2021/2022

How do I reconcile Photoshop Elements 2021 and 2022?
I would like to ask whether all the newly installed Photoshops Elements & PS Premiere Elements programs already installed on the hard drive (Programs & Library) have unnecessary duplicates
or similar data resp. Files “pave” the whole hard drive.
When you reinstall an “old” program, everything superfluous will be integrated into the new version. After all, this cannot be the task of the customer. Since you will be practically punished if you buy a new version.
Each program version is overloaded in the support files and libraries with unnecessary data, folders, and files that are not already unmanageable and are loaded to the point of constipation, comparable to fattening geese for goose liver production.
The powerful "IT companies" such as Adobe, Apple, Microsoft etc. must have this balance between replacement and renewal firmly under control.
My question: What do I do with the various old leftover files?
It is not indicated whether the new APP
is completely uninstalled, even after their previous program uninstall guides.
I currently own 2 Elements Photoshop versions (2021 and 2022) on the MacBook Pro. 2021 cannot be uninstalled, either. do not remove.install. The 2022 version is just a trial subscription. Therefore, the question before the purchase.
It should be possible to get rid of the 1,000,000 unnecessary "residual files"
to create an app on a hard drive that can do this.
Or how could a layman do that?
Warning: it is not a full-time job for the user.

I look forward to an early reply and remain with best regards

Many people like to have both versions, to give them time to study and learn the changes, and to have something to go back to if there are problems in the new version. If you do not want the old version just uninstall it in the usual way.
