Egress IPs error

I just downloaded and tried to log in to use adobe illustrator and got this pop up:

Sorry, your sign-in attempt doesn't match the Egress IPs of the profile that this machine is assigned to. Please contact your IT administrator

from my understanding, this has to do with you trying to access the application outside school/company? I have seen other discussions on this. But. My laptop is for personal use, and my account and plan too. What should I do to make this work? There is no IT admin to contact since this is just for me.
