I just installed a new hard drive on my MacBook Pro, an SSD drive. I then installed Mac OS X High Sierra. I had been using Photoshop Elements 10 (Editor only version) prior to this upgrade. When I try to start Elements 10, it won't start. A pop-up comes up stating that Elements cannot continue due to a system error and that this error is unrecoverable. Is Elements 10 incompatible with High Sierra?
CS6 (discussed below) is 4+ years old and not compatible... so I will GUESS that what you have is also not compatible
CS6 and earlier programs have not been tested and will not be updated for Mac El Capitan or later operating systems
-which means that you try to use CS6 and earlier at YOUR risk of having problems due to Apple updates
-Apple did not maintain backward compatibility with old programs in El Capitan or Sierra
--Adobe has a workaround to Apple's problem of not maintaining backward compatibility
