Question

Elements 10 installation refuses to accept my password (or name?)

Trying to install Photoshop Elements 10 on my Mac.  Have no trouble logging in to Adobe.  But during installation, when I get to "ENTER PASSWORD" page it comes up with message that my "password or name is incorrect.  Try again. "   Have changed the password three times and spent a lot of time playing with variations of my name.  The name automatically entered (Presumably by Adobe) on that page is incorrect, but attempts to change it from my end make no difference.  The person I spoke with in the chat room eventually said it was a "technical problem" and that I should come here for help.  So, what do I do now??  I have a time constraint on me as I have a project that needs to be completed within a couple of days.

Adobe software does not require/ask for passwords.  It is likely your Mac's security stepping in to gain permission from you to allow the installation.

Thank you.  I had a bad day yesterday and ended up brain dead.  When I saw your thing this morning I went straight in and, yes, it was a Mac page overlaid on Adobe.  Don't know why I didn't notice.
