elements 10 on windows 10

According to this website, QuickTime 7.7.8 won't work on Windows 10, but QuickTime 7.7.6 should: QuickTime 7.7.6 for Windows

You may need to run the installer in "compatibility mode".

I don't use quicktime so I don't have the link, but search around on Apple's site for the most recent previous version to see if that will install on Win10

First, that software is old enough that it may not work at all with Windows 10... but

TWO ideas that MAY work to install and/or run old programs in Windows 10

-1 right click the program icon (or setup.exe to install) and select a compatibility mode

-2 go to the vendor site to be sure you have an updated driver for your graphic adapter
