Elements 14 install fails when I have Micrososft Edge

The installer says I need Explorer 4.0 or higher and stops the install process from my disk.  I thought Edge for Windows 10 would qualify.

My disk only runs up to Windows version 8.  Looks like I may have to Install Windows 8, install Elements and then do the Windows 10 upgrade.  Hope this works.

Latest version OS will not be listed under Compatibility option. As of now  Windows 8 is last compatibility mode recently added.

however , let me know whether you had tried using browsers like Chrome or Firefox ??

Download Firefox — Free Web Browser — Mozilla

    Chrome for Desktop

Try Internet Explorer or different browser.

Its installed in Windows by default.

We can fix Edge issue as well. , But Trust me Microsoft Edge is far from being a complete replacement for Internet Explorer.

My computer is not letting me download an older Explorer version.

How would I go about fixing the Edge issues?
